CJP founder and convenor Abhijeet Dipke has narrowly moved ahead of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the latest Mood of the Nation survey’s preference for the next Prime Minister.
According to the August 2026 survey, Dipke received 1.3% of the responses, compared with 1.2% for Kejriwal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi remained the top choice with 48.7%, followed by Rahul Gandhi at 27.1% and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay at 9.2%.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee secured 2%, while Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav received 1.7%.
The survey was conducted by CVoter, with 25,184 people directly interviewed between July 1 and August 25. It also incorporated 91,795 interviews carried out during the previous six months as part of regular tracking.
In the Opposition leadership category, Rahul Gandhi led with 29%, followed by Vijay at 12.2%, Mamata Banerjee at 8.5% and Kejriwal at 7.5%.
Dipke, who was associated with AAP from 2020 to 2023, gained prominence after launching the Cockroach Janta Party and leading youth-focused campaigns on education and unemployment.
