The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC-NET 2026 final answer keys for 84 subjects, allowing candidates to verify their responses before the declaration of results.
Around 7.96 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. The final keys were prepared after the agency reviewed objections submitted against the provisional answer keys.
Candidates can check the final answer keys by visiting ugcnet.nta.nic.in, opening the UGC-NET section and selecting the relevant subject. They should download the key and compare it with their recorded responses.
The final answer key will be considered during the evaluation process. Candidates will need to wait for the official result and scorecard to know their final marks and qualification status.
The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was conducted from June 22 to 30 across 87 subjects. However, candidates had raised concerns over errors and repeated questions in the English, Commerce and Sociology papers.
Following a review, an NTA committee identified factual, typographical and translation errors. The three papers were subsequently cancelled and a fresh examination was announced, while the remaining 84 subjects were not affected.
