Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has approached the Madhya Pradesh High Court in connection with a defamation case filed by Kartikeya Singh Chouhan, son of senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The case dates back to a 2018 election campaign speech in which Gandhi allegedly made remarks linking Kartikeya to the Panama Papers controversy.
