Bhubaneswar: Odisha has concluded a three-day investment outreach in the United Arab Emirates, attracting proposed investments worth ₹2,42,162 crore with an estimated employment potential of 6,18,725 jobs.

Led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the UAE programme included 26 one-to-one meetings and six round-table discussions involving investors, business leaders and institutional stakeholders. The outreach resulted in eight MoUs and 16 Investment Intents (IIFs) across a wide range of sectors.

The Dubai leg focused on opportunities in tourism, logistics, finance, green energy, LNG storage, artificial intelligence, data centres, rare earths, ship repair, chemicals, fertilisers and steel downstream industries.

Companies including CAZBAA Project Ventures FZCO, Rana Holdings Limited, Sharaf Group and PTCL Infrastructure signed MoUs, while Investment Intents were received from firms including Dalwin Marine, Turbo Power Engineering, Ion Technologies and Agrifields FZCO.

The Chief Minister highlighted Odisha’s natural resources, ports, industrial infrastructure, energy availability and skilled workforce as key investment advantages.

Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain reaffirmed the government’s focus on “Speed, Certainty and Execution” to facilitate projects.

The outreach is expected to strengthen Odisha’s global investment pipeline and deepen economic ties with the UAE.
