Afghanistan

India has strongly condemned Pakistan’s reported airstrikes on Afghan territory, describing them as a serious violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and a threat to regional peace and stability. The strikes reportedly resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children, drawing concern from New Delhi.

In an official statement, the Indian government said the attacks reflected Pakistan’s continued pattern of reckless behaviour and accused it of attempting to shift attention from its internal challenges through cross-border military actions. India termed the strikes “desperate acts of violence” that undermine regional security.

The government also expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attacks.

Reaffirming its long-standing position, India reiterated its unwavering support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the well-being of its people. The statement emphasized the need to respect international norms and avoid actions that could further destabilize the region.
