The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a major protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on June 20, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination-related irregularities. The youth-led organization is currently awaiting permission from the Delhi Police after completing all required formalities for the demonstration.
According to CJP representatives, detailed plans, volunteer information, and logistical arrangements have already been submitted to the authorities. Party spokesperson Saurav Das stated that the proposed gathering would remain peaceful and organized, expressing confidence that police approval would be granted.
The protest follows a series of nationwide campaigns highlighting concerns over examination management, recruitment delays, and unemployment. Through its “Chalo Dilli” call, the party has invited supporters from across the country to join the demonstration and press for accountability in the education system.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has also proposed an indefinite sit-in until their demands are addressed. The group first gained attention through online activism and has since organized protests in multiple cities. Its campaign has largely focused on controversies surrounding competitive examinations, including NEET, and broader concerns about transparency and fairness in education-related processes.
