New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated online portal for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) appearing for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination.
The facility allows eligible candidates to submit details of their own scribes before the examination. According to NTA, the portal was opened on June 9 and remained available until June 12 at 11:50 PM.
The move aims to ensure smooth arrangements for candidates who require writing assistance during the examination. Only those candidates who are eligible for the scribe facility and have opted to arrange their own scribe can use the portal.
Candidates were required to complete the submission process through the official NEET website within the specified deadline. NTA stated that the information provided through the portal would help authorities make necessary preparations for the examination.
The NEET UG 2026 re-exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 21 in pen-and-paper mode at designated centres across India. Candidates have been advised to regularly check official notifications for further updates regarding admit cards and examination guidelines.
