Bhubaneswar: IPS officer Anugu Shiva Maruthi Reddy has assumed charge as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) (Police) to Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati.

Reddy took charge during a ceremony at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday. The Governor welcomed him to the new assignment in the presence of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Governor Dr Roopa Roshan Sahoo and senior officials of the Governor’s Secretariat.

Before his appointment, Reddy was serving as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of G. Udayagiri. He succeeds IPS officer Ananya Awasthi as the Governor’s ADC (Police).

The Odisha Governor is assisted by two ADCs, representing the Odisha Police and the Indian Navy. Lieutenant Commander Harshit Deo is serving as the ADC (Navy).

As ADC, Reddy will assist the Governor during official and ceremonial programmes while also handling important protocol-related duties associated with the Governor’s engagements.
