Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced an ex-gratia of ₹4 lakh each for the families of a father and daughter who lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Gangapada Chowk in Khordha district.
Expressing deep grief over the incident, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, according to an official statement from the Chief Minister’s Office.
The financial assistance will be provided from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the next of kin of the deceased. The government said the support is intended to help the family cope with the difficult situation following the tragic loss.
