A mobile phone shop in Rajasthan was targeted by burglars who allegedly stole 35 to 40 smartphones worth around ₹5 lakh during a late-night break-in.

According to police, the accused entered the shop through the roof before stealing the mobile phones. The theft was discovered the next morning, and a case was registered for investigation.

CCTV footage from the shop reportedly showed one of the suspects wearing a mask resembling India’s Prime Minister while carrying out the burglary. Police are examining the footage as part of the investigation. Officials have not confirmed any motive behind the use of the mask.

Investigators are also checking whether the theft is connected to similar incidents reported in the area. A special police team has been formed to trace the accused and recover the stolen smartphones.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby locations and collecting other evidence to identify those involved. Further investigation is underway, and officials expect more details to emerge as the probe progresses.
