Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has unveiled an AI-generated short film targeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ahead of the 2027 Assembly election.
The motion film draws inspiration from the dramatic style of 1980s Bollywood. It portrays Akhilesh as an “angry young man” confronting Yogi, who is depicted as a villain-like character.
In the video, Akhilesh’s character accuses the BJP government of issues including crimes against women, corruption, problems in public education, poor infrastructure and farmers’ distress. He repeatedly refers to Yogi Adityanath as “Ajay Seth”, a fictional variation of his actual name, Ajay Bisht.
The film also contains claims about government spending on public relations and portrays Yogi’s character making controversial remarks about political strategies and the Ayodhya Ram Temple. These are presented as part of the fictional AI-generated exchange.
The video ends with SP supporters raising slogans for a “PDA Sarkar” in 2027.
This is Akhilesh’s second AI-based political video targeting Yogi. An earlier video showing the Chief Minister smoking a chillum had triggered criticism from the BJP, which called it “anti-Sanatan.”
