Bhubaneswar: The seventh edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) 2026 will be held from October 3 to 5 at Mayfair Sanctuary in Bhubaneswar, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Thursday.
Organised by the Odisha Tourism Department in association with FICCI, the three-day business-to-business tourism event will bring together more than 92 private exhibitors, international tour operators from 27 countries and domestic buyers representing 32 Indian cities. More than 6,000 pre-arranged business meetings are expected during the event.
Parida said Odisha is working to expand tourism while ensuring that its economic benefits reach local communities, small businesses and entrepreneurs. She highlighted the state’s cultural heritage, traditions, adventure tourism, homestays and hospitality sector as key components of its tourism strategy.
The event will also feature eight familiarisation tours covering destinations across Odisha. Participants, including tour operators, buyers, media professionals and influencers, will experience the state’s heritage, spirituality, wildlife, tribal culture, coastline and experiential tourism offerings.
Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar will participate in an experience-sharing session focused on culinary tourism.
Parida also urged tourism stakeholders and media professionals to help showcase Odisha’s cultural richness and rural traditions to audiences across India and abroad.
The event aims to strengthen Odisha’s visibility as a diverse tourism destination while creating new business opportunities for the state’s tourism sector.
