Bhubaneswar: Odisha has approved 14 industrial investment proposals worth ₹2,780.10 crore, with the projects expected to create 14,104 employment opportunities across the state.
The approvals were granted at the 149th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority, chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg. The projects span sectors including food processing, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, steel and infrastructure.
Among the major investments, Haldiram Snacks Food Private Limited will invest ₹500 crore in manufacturing facilities in Khordha and Cuttack, creating 800 jobs. Sahana Clothing Company will invest ₹251.45 crore in Dhenkanal and is expected to generate 5,104 jobs.
Other notable projects include Tiwana Nutrition Global’s ₹140-crore cattle feed unit, Syrma SGS Technology’s ₹300-crore electronics facility and Mahatripurasundari Minerals and Metals’ ₹160-crore integrated industrial complex in Keonjhar.
The investments will be spread across 11 districts, supporting wider industrial development beyond established hubs. The Odisha government said the Single Window Clearance System is helping accelerate project approvals and implementation in line with its vision of Samruddha Odisha 2036.
