Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Thursday reviewed the implementation of key government schemes and projects across districts, directing officials to resolve land issues, speed up approvals and improve coordination between departments.
Garg chaired a meeting with District Collectors at Lok Seva Bhavan, with collectors joining virtually from across the state. Senior officials from several departments also attended.
The meeting covered project progress, land-related hurdles and implementation challenges in areas including urban development, labour, women and child development, health, agriculture, education, MSME and culture.
The Housing and Urban Development Department reviewed land issues affecting water supply and other projects. Collectors were directed to address hurdles involving five important projects in Khordha, Sambalpur and Cuttack.
The meeting also discussed Poshan Maah-2026, the Suposhit Odisha Mission, biomedical waste management, healthcare infrastructure, farmer registration and digital crop surveys.
Education-related reviews included the Godavarish Mishra Adarsha Primary School scheme, residential hostels in Odisha Adarsh Vidyalayas and APAAR ID creation.
The MSME Department reviewed Single Window Clearance Authorities, MSME Parks, startups and credit facilities, including the proposed development of 30 MSME Parks across the state.
Garg directed Collectors to ensure regular monitoring and timely resolution of land, approval, construction and implementation issues so that approved projects and schemes benefit people without delay.
