New Delhi: India produced another dominant performance to defeat Afghanistan by seven wickets in the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Sanju Samson starred with a sensational 57, while Abhishek Sharma provided a blistering start as India comfortably chased down Afghanistan’s total.
Afghanistan once again struggled with the bat and failed to contain India during the powerplay. The visitors now face a must-win situation in the series finale.
The third and final T20I will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on September 17, with the match scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm IST.
