Smt. Rekha Pandey has taken charge as Director (Human Resources) of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), marking a significant milestone in her distinguished professional career. She assumed the position on Friday evening at the company’s headquarters in Sambalpur, Odisha.
With more than 32 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, she brings extensive expertise in workforce development, employee relations and organisational management. Before her new appointment, she served as General Manager (HR) at Coal India Limited’s headquarters.
An accomplished professional, Smt. Pandey is an alumna of the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, where she pursued an MBA in Personnel Management. She also holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from Maharani College, Jaipur.
Her appointment is expected to strengthen MCL’s human resource initiatives and support its organisational goals through effective people management and employee engagement.
