Mumbai: Investigators have obtained the first images of two suspects allegedly involved in the firing incident near Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s residence in Juhu. Both men were seen wearing white shirts, while one wore a black cap featuring the Puma logo.
Police have also recovered the motorcycle allegedly used in the attack. The vehicle was reportedly abandoned near Andheri railway station as the suspects fled. Investigators are checking its registration and other identifying details.
CCTV footage suggests that three men took part in the incident. One allegedly fired several rounds, while another appeared to attempt to fire. Their third accomplice reportedly waited on a motorcycle to assist their escape.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening when the 36-year-old actor was leaving after a football match. Shroff escaped unhurt, but his driver, Firdaus, and an autorickshaw driver identified as Chauhan sustained injuries. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde later said the actor had suffered gunpowder burns on his right hand.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility and issued threats against those working with Salman Khan.
Mumbai Police have deployed 15 teams, including Crime Branch personnel, to identify and arrest the accused. Forensic experts are examining ballistic evidence to determine the number of rounds fired.
