Kohat: At least 15 people were killed and several others injured after a powerful explosion struck near the Old Police Lines in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during Friday prayers.
According to police, an explosives-laden vehicle rammed into the gate of the Old Police Lines, triggering a blast followed by gunfire. The explosion reportedly created a crater outside a nearby mosque, damaged its exterior, and caused a wall to collapse.
Police and hospital authorities confirmed the casualties. Security forces and emergency teams reached the site, while investigations into the attack are underway.
